The 27th Hearing Loss Association of Albany Picnic will be held at Jumpin Jack's Drive-In on Tuesday, July 27th at 6 PM. Jumpin Jack's is located on 5 Schonowe Ave in Scotia. just over the bridge past the Schenectady Community College. They have good burgers and ice cream! Join us for fun times with old and new friends while we watch the US Waterskiing Team perform some amazing feats on the Mohawk river.
Bring your own food or purchase something at JJ's. Look for balloons and you will find us. Bring a chair or blanket and hope for a nice summer's evening. The ski show starts at 6 PM Plan to get there early, especially if you are buying your dinner. If the show is cancelled because of inclement weather or low water level, there will be no picnic. HLAA of Albany and the Capital Region Tinnitus group will have a special presentation about tinnitus and hearing loss by several Audiologists in May. More details to come. Dr. Chris Raffo, audiologist from Madison Hearing Center will present two different topics related to tinnitus devices and therapy. Dr. Debra Trees, Audiologist at St.Peter's Audiology clinic in Slingerlands will be the Moderator. Additonal speakers and topics are being considered for this meeting.
